Characteristics :Stainarc 316 is a rutile coated AC/DC(+) electroed designed for welding in all conventional welding positions. It yields a controlled ferrite, 18% Cr Ni 11% Mo2.3% stainless steel weld metal having excellent mechanical propertise in combination with high creep strength and is of radiographic quality The weld metal composition has been fiund favourable in fabrication and repair of plant and equipment in rayon, dye and paper industries and for service in sulphuri and sulphurous acids. The electrode has excellent arc stability and low spatter loss. All sizes strike and restrike easily. Advantages:soft and stable arc Which is easy to beads are smooth, unifrom and of excellent appearance.
