  • Characteristics :
    A hydrogen controlled, Iron powder type electrode which operates in all conventional, positions. The electrode possess good welding characteristics and yields weld metal Which contains 2.25% Cr & 1% Mo. The weld metal displays excellent, creep resisting property and retains strength, upto 550°C. The welds are of radiographic quality.

  • Applictions :
    The electrode is suitable for use In oil refineries, thermal and chemical plants for service upto 550°C. The materials to be welded are: ASTM:A 387 gr. 2l & A 182 gr. F22, A234 gr. WP22.

  • Welding Instructions :
    • Rebake the electrode at 250°C -300°C for one hour.
    • Hold a short arc and use minimum possible current,
    • Maintain interpass temperature of 150°C max during welding (Optionally also available in vacuum packed condition rebaking not required in this Packaging.)
