    ARF Hard Facing 650

  • Characteristics :
    A medium heavey coated, Basic type hardfacing electrodes with excellent welding performance. Weld deposit is extermely resistant to abrasion and metal to metal wear. Weld metal is too hard to resist even scratching and grinding abrasion due to interiorate through local plastic flow and cracking

  • Applictions :
    Concrete mixer blades, Screw conveyoes flights, Liding components for coal grinding etc, Oil expeller worms reconditioing, Col breaking hammers, Bore well cutters, Cement die rings, Plough shares, Dippers, excavator teeth etc.

  • All Weld :
    C = 2.20-4.0
    Mn = 0.8-1.25

  • Meetal properties :
    Si = 2.50-3.50
    cr = 8-10 Max
    S = 0.03 Max
    P = 0.03 Max

  • Hardness Data :
    580-600 BHN on 2 layers deposit.

  • Precautions :
    preheat the electrodes at 100-110'C Temp. prior to use, for best results.
