Low Hydrogen

ARF 8018-B2

  • Classifications :
    AWS/SFA 5.5 :E-8018-B2
    BSEN        :E-Cr Mo 1 B 42

  • Characteristics :
A low-hydrogen. iron powder type electrode depositing weld metal which contains 1.2% Cr & 0.5% Mo. The weld metal displays superior high temperature strength even at 500°C - 525°C . The electrode operates in all positions and shows good weld ability.

  • Applictions :
The electrode is suitable for welding creep resisting steels represented by ASTM A 182-F2. F11 F12. A 387-2, 11 grades and DIN 13 Cr Mo 44, 15 Cr Mo 5 etc. used in boilers, power plants, oil refineries and chemical plants.
