  • Characteristics :
A heavy coated, all position, low hydrogen electrode producing a tough & ductile weld metal for welding heavy and rigid structures subject to dynamic loading and heavy Impact. The weld metal is of radiographic quality and displays remarkable Impact strength at subzero temperatures down to -45°C.

  • Applictions :
Typical applications Include welding of carbon steels, heavy and rigid structures, pressure vessels and equipments subject to severe stress and requiring good Impact properties at subzero temperatures down to -45°C.

  • Welding Instructions :
    • It is a safe practice to rebake the electrodes at 308°C for 1-2 hours before use to ensure best results.
    • Use minimum possible currents, hold a short arc, avoid weaving, control preheat and interpass temperatures.
(Optionally also available In vacuum- packed condition, rebaking not required in this packaging.)
